With their son Jason, the family is completely devoted to all those seeking rest for their loved ones. Providing genuine and empathetic assistance to the bereaved and to those who elect to pre-plan, the Holts are truly your neighbors. They choose not to employ an answering service and are, therefore, personally available every day and night.

William Holt
Owner & Funeral Director
William Holt is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, a certified Crematory Operator and a licensed Pre-Need Insurance Agent who has always possessed a special intuition when helping others deal with loss. His preference towards smaller, town-based funeral homes has been a journey across the United States; Boerne is the place which truly feels like home. A veteran of the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard with over 30 years of experience in the service industry, William graduated with honors from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services.
Mary Holt
Owner
Mary has deep roots to the Texas Hill Country, tracing back to the 1840’s. Her friendly personality and experience ease the process of planning a funeral. As an organized and detailed person, Mary’s commitment and extensive skills serve to maintain Holt & Holt Funeral Home as a compassionate and modern family-oriented funeral home.
Jason Holt
Office Manager
Jason is often the first person families speak with when contacting Holt & Holt Funeral Home. An honors graduate from the University of Texas at Permian Basin, he holds a dual major in computer science and math. Jason manages the office and specializes in insurance claims; additionally, he coordinates technology for services.
Bill Viner
Funeral Assistant
Bill assists with removals, services, office duties, and administration, assisting our families at every step of the way. He is thoughtful regarding the needs of others; his presence at Holt & Holt Funeral Home is truly an asset.
